Job Summary:

The Field Service Technician III provides advanced maintenance and technical support for company products at customer field locations. This role is responsible for installing new products, enhancing existing ones, and delivering training and best practices to on-site personnel. The technician diagnoses malfunctions, conducts or schedules repairs, and recommends product replacements or upgrades when necessary. Detailed service reports are prepared to document visits, issues, and troubleshooting actions. This position plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, contributing to the organization's overall success.

Responsibilities:

Operations: 

  • Perform maintenance and technical support for company products at customer field locations. 

  • Install new products or improve existing ones to meet customer needs. 

  • Identify and troubleshoot malfunctions, scheduling or conducting necessary repairs.

 

Customer Support: 

  • Provide training and best practices to on-site personnel. 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support during service visits.

  • Documentation and Reporting: 

  • Develop detailed service reports documenting service visits, troubleshooting actions, and maintenance activities. Log and track maintenance activities in company systems.

 

Upgrades and Recommendations: 

  • Assess when products should be replaced and recommend suitable upgrades. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan and implement product enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred. 

  • 3-5 years of related experience in a field service role. 

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.

Requirements:

Technical Skills: 

  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems. 

  • Experience with field service tools and diagnostic equipment. 

  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols.

         

Soft Skills: 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Effective time management and ability to work independently. 

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality service delivery.

Salary Range:

  • The salary range for this position is $29.27 - $32.62 per hour, based on the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and relevant experience. This position also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support employee well-being and professional growth.
